Go to the party at Club Whispers. A graduate of the PR program at FAMU is one of the promotions managers for Club Whispers and they really know how to throw a nice party.
Go early and dress up. There are typically some of the guys from the pro teams there and other up-and-coming artists. It's good mix of young people.
The music is good, the food is good, they have non-alcoholic drinks if you're not a drinker, and the club is well run and well managed.
Go and have a good time and don't be the last one to close out the club. That's tacky.
Final word of advice: Leave with the people you came with. There's safety in numbers.

To tell you the truth I don't really hit the clubs as hard as I should. Most of the clubs will be highly expensive and drink specials... forget about it. I mostly buy liquor with friends, get drunk in the hotel room and spend the night wondering around the city.
I don't party like that either. The best entertainment I had last year was posting up in the lobby of my hotel (no alcohol involved) with my friends and watching the outfits and the people go to the party that was in my hotel. Great times!
Guys Im from Orlando so I know there is a lot to do!! If your arriving on thurday you cn go to Girlfriend Thurdays at Club Whispers, its always a huge event year round so imagine how it will be this week. Like Prof. Kinchlow said anything with Front Line promotions will be nice, they have other parties throughput the week too.
Also, I think saturday Dj Demp will be at The Roxy, so that will give you the Tallahassee style party that some are looking for.
However, if the club isn't your thing, the malls all around orlando will be live and in effect. Mall at milenia has your fine stores and dining, West Oaks has urban apperal and serves as a hang out spot just to name a few.
International drive will also be heavily populated for just hanging out.
